Did you know? Venus, even though it’s the second closest planet, is the hottest of them, its surface temperature can reach up to 900 degrees Fahrenheit due to the greenhouse gas effect. Venus’ surface rotates slowly; one day on Venus lasts 243 earth days, but the cloud in Venus’ atmosphere move extremely rapidly, traveling the globe fully in about 5 earth days. Venus is also known as Earth’s twin, being roughly the same size, even though our surface ad atmospheric differences are astounding.
